Steven J. Cody received his Ph.D. in May 2015. His research focuses on exchanges among the textual and visual cultures of Renaissance Italy, with a special interest in matters dealing with art, philosophy, and theology. A winner of the Kathy Canavan Award for service to the graduate and undergraduate art history community, he has had the distinct privilege of holding several positions within the department, including Teaching Assistant, Instructor of Record, and Undergraduate Academic Advisor. His dissertation is titled "Andrea del Sarto (1486-1530) and the Art of Reform."
