Wendy A. Grossman is a Curatorial Associate at The Phillips Collection in Washington D.C. and adjunct faculty in the NYU Global program in D.C. She has lectured internationally on photographic history and early twentieth-century European and American modernism, curated exhibitions on these topics, and taught at various universities in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and at Middlebury College, Middlebury Vermont. Grossman is the author of numerous publications including Man Ray, African Art and the Modernist Lens, the award-winning catalogue for the touring exhibition she curated that opened at The Phillips Collection in October 2009. She is currently working on an exhibition titled Man Ray, Mathematical Objects, and Shakespearean Equations, which will travel to two international venues after opening at The Phillips Collection in 2015.
