This fall Professor Emeritus William L. Pressly continued an impressive run in retirement. Not content to rest on his laurels after winning the William MB Berger Book Prize last year for his book "James Barry’s Murals at the Royal Society of Arts: Envisioning a New Public Art," Professor Pressly is a Senior Scholar in Residence as part of the Smithsonian American Art Museum Fellows program for the Academic Year 2016-2017. His topic of study this year is "America's Paper Money: A Canvas for an Emergin Nation" and he will present a talk on his research Thursday, December 15th at noon at SAAM as part of the famed Brown Bag lunchtime talks. It's good to have you back in town Professor Pressly!
