Undergraduate Program

The undergraduate program in the Department of Art History and Archaeology develops students’ critical understanding of visual culture in both art historical and archaeological contexts.

We're here for Diversity, Equity, and Justice

With a diverse and expanding range of courses in the art and archaeology of Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe, students explore different monuments, objects and spaces of visuality across time, from antiquity to the modern-day, and develop a sophisticated understanding of the social, intellectual and intersectional qualities of visual cultures.
