TLTC Training, "Supporting Students in Distress"
"Supporting Students in Distress"
On February 8th, 2022, the Department of Art History & Archaeology met for a training led by TLTC Learning Experience Designer Ginny Hutcheson on "Supporting Students in Distress." The 1.5 hour training focused on existing resources that the University of Maryland provides, how to recognize anxiety in students, and where and when to provide students with support. The training provided also a platform for us, as a community, to discuss and brainstorm strategies for how to limit sources of anxiety for our students.
Here you'll find all the resources collated from this training.
