Her dissertation, entitled "Performing Parnassus: Leonardo da Vinci's Ephemeral Productions at the Court of Milan," is the first comprehensive investigation of Leonardo's career in the theater.
Abigail received her B.A. (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Georgia and her M.A. (with distinction) from the Florida State University. While at Florida State, Abigail published a portion of her master's thesis, entitled "The Political Context of Michelangelo'sCleopatrafor Tommaso de'Cavalieri," in the July 2013 publication ofAthanor.
