Audrey Hong is a MA/PhD student studying contemporary art under Professor Karin Zitzewitz and Professor Jordana Saggese. She is interested in how gender and sexuality are investigated and depicted by contemporary artists from diasporic communities.
Audrey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History and English Literature from Colgate University, where she received the Fitchen Award for Excellence in Art and Art History. She spent the last year working as the Education and Engagement Coordinator for Colgate’s two on-campus museums, the Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Picker Art Gallery. Based on her own learning experience and her work with undergraduates as Coordinator, Audrey is eager to promote more transregional and interdisciplinary inquiry in academic spaces.
