Claire is a first year PhD student studying modern and contemporary art. She received her BA in Art History with honors from Oberlin College in 2019. Her thesis examined globalization in a Medieval context, focusing on the composite objects of the San Marco Treasury. Her research interests now include feminism in conceptual and performance art, the history of visual culture, and artistic interventions in transnational economic spheres. She has worked as a research and curatorial assistant at the Georgia Museum of Art, the Allen Memorial Art Museum, and the National Air and Space Museum.
