Jennifer Snodgrass Plyler is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in 17th century Dutch art. Her research interests include domesticity and eroticism in painting and prints. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 with a B.A. in the History of Art and an M.A. in the Humanities, focusing on Pre-Columbian art and architecture (M.A. thesis: "Ancient Andean Landscape Aesthetics"). Jennifer has interned in the arts of Africa, the Ancient Americas, and the Pacific Islands at the Baltimore Museum of Art, and was a 2011-2012 Maryland Museum Fellow at the National Gallery of Art in the Department of Northern Baroque Painting.
