Undergraduate Research and Honors Thesis Symposium

Undergraduate Research and Honors Thesis Symposium
Plan to join us Friday, May 2nd in the Collaboratory to celebrate the work of emerging scholars from our Department as they present papers about their research and work.
A first-ever combination of both the Undergraduate Honors Symposium and the Undergraduate Research Symposium (the latter celebrating its 20th year!), this event will commence at 10 am with a morning session focused on the work of five students who each are completing a year's worth of rigorous research and work on an Honors Thesis. Each of these students has worked for a year with a faculty advisor(s) to get to this point, and their talks will distill for the public the important research and contributions to scholarship they have made. The second half of the symposium will feature papers by undergraduate students working in all areas of art historical and archaeological research who have been paired with graduate student mentors to help them hone their papers into polished 15-minute presentations.
Light morning refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Please come out and support our future scholars!
