Huang Moves on from the Netherlands to New York City with Her Latest Fellowship
Juliet Huang, who is wrapping up two years of research in the Netherlands on a Kress Fellowship for her dissertation, has been awarded a Metropolitan Museum of Art History of Art and Visual Culture Fellowship for the forthcoming academic year. This year-long fellowship will allow Juliet access to the surviving fashion accessories from the 17th century in the Met’s collection, in addition to the opportunity to work with curators of the collection, a wonderful opportunity as she finishes up the research and writing of her dissertation, "Dressing the Speaking Hand: Fashion Accessories around the Hand in the Seventeenth-Century Netherlands."
