Marco Polo Juárez, who will start the PhD program this fall under the direction of Professor Abigail McEwen, has been awarded a four-year grant supporting the research of Mexican graduate students focusing on the Fine Arts.
Marco Polo Juárez, who will start the PhD program this fall under the direction of Professor Abigail McEwen, has been awarded a four-year grant supporting the research of Mexican graduate students focusing on the Fine Arts. CONACYT-FINBA is a joint grant from the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and INBA Foundation and administered by the government of Mexico. Marco Polo plans to research "New Narratives of Myth in the Americas: Toward the Emergence of National Identity in American Abstract Painting."
