Patricia Ortega-Miranda, a PhD student in the Department who is a Graduate Assistant in the University of Maryland Art Gallery, has curated a fascinating online summer exhibition Breath & Delirium: Selected Works by Glenda León. Ms. León's work takes as its subject the natural world in a series of digitally-manipulated video shorts that serve both as regenerative pause and as call to act on our deep connection to the world around us. The exhibition, which can be accessed at https://artgallery.umd.edu/exhibition/breath-delirium-selected-works-glenda-leon, received a very nice review in the Washington Post. Well worth your (brief) time.

Congratulations Patricia!
