Professor Honig will lead the organization for the next four years

Professor Elizabeth Honig has been elected President of the Historians of Netherlandish Art, an organization with about six hundred members in North America, Europe, and Asia. She follows a long line of eminent scholars who have presided over HNA. HNA supports graduate students and early-career scholars with a mentorship program, grants for travel and publication, and opportunities to present their work. It sponsors conference sessions and holds its own international conferences. It also publishes an online journal and book review. HNA keeps members in touch with one another and with things that are happening in the field. Professor Honig is, in her words, "somewhat overwhelmed but plans to do her best." Doubtless you will, and more!

Congratulations Professor Honig!
