Tucker Mossing Gains Archival Experience at The Driskell Center

My experience at The Driskell Center has been incredibly valuable. I interned in the Center’s archive for the 2025-2026 academic year, and my work has included completing the entire archiving process with a new collection of papers, helping to organize the institutional archive and library, and compiling research on the center’s past exhibitions. As an Art History major, I continue to hone my organization, research, writing, and collaboration skills. My studies have also helped me recognize the importance of archival work and preservation as a whole. As someone passionate about the museum field and increasing its accessibility, gaining experience in an archive has been a wonderful way to explore this field in a hands-on way. This internship has given me a chance to work both independently and with others, and use my skills to directly help the institution by making it more accessible to students and researchers who visit the archive. All in all, interning at The Driskell Center has been very beneficial and has been a welcome addition to my studies in Art History.
